What is laser hair removal?

Medilase Pro laser device for hair removal

Laser hair removal is a modern method of removing unwanted hair using concentrated laser light. The laser energy is absorbed by melanin in the hair follicle, leading to its destruction and preventing future hair growth.

The procedure is performed with the Medilase Pro device, featuring an advanced cooling system and four wavelengths, ensuring a comfortable, safe, and highly effective treatment for various skin and hair types.

Laser hair removal provides long-lasting results after a course of treatments — the skin remains smooth without the need for daily shaving or painful waxing.

Medilase Pro: Advanced Diode Laser for Hair Removal

Medilase Pro is a professional next-generation diode laser with an advanced cooling system. The handpiece can cool down to -20°C, significantly enhancing procedure comfort and minimizing pain sensations.

The device is equipped with four wavelengths (755 nm, 808 nm, 940 nm, 1064 nm), allowing effective work with different hair and skin types — from light fine to dark coarse hair.

The powerful cooling system reduces the risk of skin irritation and enables treatments even on the most sensitive body areas with maximum client comfort.

Thanks to precise targeting and controlled laser energy, a high level of procedure safety is achieved while maintaining maximum hair removal effectiveness.

How to prepare for laser hair removal?

  1. 1

    Avoid sun exposure

Avoid sunbathing and tanning for 3 weeks before the procedure to reduce burn risk and ensure laser effectiveness.

  2. 2

    Do not tweeze hair

Avoid plucking, waxing, or sugaring 3–4 weeks before, as these methods remove the root the laser needs to target.

  3. 3

    Do not use depilatory creams

Do not use hair removal creams a few days before, as they may irritate the skin.

  4. 4

Shave the area before the procedure

Shave the area beforehand to help the laser reach hair follicles more precisely.

  5. 5

    Do not apply cosmetics

Avoid creams, lotions, or deodorants on the treated area the day of the procedure.

  6. 6

    Mandatory consultation

Attend a consultation to check for contraindications and plan treatment.

Number of laser hair removal sessions

The treatment plan is always individual and determined during consultation, depending on hair type, colour, and treatment area. Sessions are typically performed with intervals of 4–10 weeks.

As hair growth reduces, the intervals between sessions become longer — all adjustments are made individually based on the skin's response and achieved results.

Best results are seen on dark hair, which responds most effectively to laser treatment.
